Senior Developer – Java, J2EE & Web Services for Oman

VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Senior Developer – Java, J2EE & Web Services for our Oman operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
Responsibilities:

1) Development of new IT system & enhancements in the existing systems.
2) Installation and configuration of application related software.
3) Coding and configuration to ensure delivery of a module.
4) Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.
5) Study existing processes, Practices and Standards.
6) Technical issue resolution.
7) Version controlling. Code review of in-house developed System and its fine tuning.
8) Preparation of test plan & unit test cases.
9) User acceptance testing, integration testing, system testing.
10) Creating technical specifications.
11) To Provide support during acceptance testing and migration of code into production server
12) To participate in business continuity in the event of disaster.
13) To do knowledge transfer to end-users to use system after deployment.
14) To comply with bank’s Information Security Policy during development of systems.
15) Preparation of project documents & maintaining quality records.


Skills:

a) Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Computer science.
b) Minimum 4 years of experience in the software industry:
a. Proven expertise in J2EE Technologies (Java / JSP / HTML / XML)
b. Proven expertise in development of Web Services on Java platform
c. Banking Domain knowledge & knowledge in Finacle core banking an added advantage.
d. Knowledge in Oracle / MS SQL.
e. Knowledge in IBM suite of products like Websphere Application Server, MQ, MQ Broker & Process Server.
c) Excellent knowledge of UML fundamentals and OO approach to software development.
d) Knowledge of Messaging & Integration protocols, networking, OOAD, n-tier architecture & SOA. Knowledge of SDLC concepts and CMM processes.

Domain : Banking
Experience Required : Minimum 4 yrs.

Joining time frame : 2 weeks (Maximum 4 weeks)
